Terms & Conditions: Ace Your Exams Group Coaching Programme
Purpose
- Ace Your Exams is an academic success programme designed to increase student motivation and self-belief, improve time management and enable students to learn more in less time, by using evidence-based revision techniques.
- All with the aim of helping to make students' and parents' lives easier, studying more enjoyable and ultimately to improve the students' exam grades.
- Additional student specific goals may be agreed during the 1-1 On-Boarding Call.
Expectations
1. Coach agrees to maintain the Code of Ethics and standards of behaviour set out by the Association for Coaching (AC) and Tutors Association (both of which the coach is a member).
2. The student is responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results. As such, the student and parent agree that the coach is not liable for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the coach. The student and parent understand that coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental health condition or psychological disorder.
3. Student agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
Session Dates & Times

Cancelling and Re-arranging Sessions
- Please ensure you can make all of the dates in the Group Programme as once purchased, you are committing to attend the full group programme (which includes our Satisfaction Guarantee).
- The programme and the sessions within, cannot be rearranged or cancelled and there is no refund for any missed sessions (outside of our Satisfaction Guarantee).
- You will also receive session outputs, slides and next steps for all sessions regardless of whether or not they were attended live.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We want the investment in this course to deliver real value for you. If the student attends the first 3 Group Coaching sessions and first Student Mentoring session and completes the short next steps each week, and doesn't feel they have received value from the course, for any reason, we will happily refund your full payment, no questions asked.
Safeguarding
The coach is Enhanced DBS checked (a copy of which is available on request) and coaching will take place over live Zoom sessions.
Confidentiality & GDPR
This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the student shares with the coach as part of this relationship, is bound to confidentiality by the AC Code of Ethics and GDPR. The coach is registered with the Information Commissioners Office in compliance with data protection law.
What information is shared:
1. Onboarding and End of Course Surveys – a copy of results and any recommendations by the coach based on this (shared with the individual student and their parent(s) only).
2. Weekly Coaching - all slides/videos from the session, notes students have made and actionable next steps are shared every week on the Course Platform (Mighty Networks) with all students and parents enrolled on that cohort.
3. Personal information which may be shared verbally by the student with the coach or student mentors is not shared, unless the student is at risk of harm to themselves or others.
